The iHeartRadio Music Festival is headed back to Las Vegas, NV to take place over two days and nights at the T-Mobile Arena on September 20th-21st. Organizers for the annual pop festival announced their 2019 lineup on Tuesday, as this year’s event will feature performances from Alicia Keys, Cage The Elephant, Camila Cabello, Chance The Rapper, and many more.The two-day event will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and will treat attendees to performances from rock veterans including Def Leppard and Heart, in addition to French Montana, Halsey, H.E.R., Miley Cyrus, Mumford & Sons, Tim McGraw, and Zac Brown Band. The event’s Daytime Stage will also feature sets from Juice WRLD, Maren Morris, Billie Eilish, Old Dominion, H.E.R., Zara Larsson, CNCO, Brett Young, FLETCHER, Monsta X, Bryce Vine, and Lauv. Louis E. Tebbe, age 95 of Batesville, died Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Ripley Crossing. Born March 21, 1924 in Franklin County Indiana, he is the son of Anna (Nee: Dickman) and William Tebbe. He Married Sylvia Krieger October 9, 1948 at St. Martin’s Church in Yorkville, Indiana and she preceded him in death December 1, 2003.Louie farmed for over 60 years before retiring in 1992. He was a good businessman and proud that he treated everyone fairly in his business dealings. A member of St. Louis Church, his faith was important. He supported the church and its’ functions throughout his lifetime. When Louie retired and moved to town, he quickly became a fixture as he walked daily and meticulously cared for his lawn. He put the same care and effort into his garden each year. According to his family, Louie was an avid card player and loved 500.He is survived by his daughters Mary Hornbach of Harrison, Ohio, Luann Anderson of Broadway, North Carolina; grandchildren Kirsten Hornbach of Taylor Mill, Kentucky and Morgan Anderson and Carter Anderson, both of Broadway, North Carolina. In addition to his wife and parents, he is also preceded in death by sisters Mary Jane Tebbe, Marian Bischoff, Monica Ruberg, Florence Sturwold and brothers John, William and Francis Tebbe.Visitation is Wednesday, May 29th, from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home. Funeral services follow at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Stan Pondo officiating and burial in the church cemetery. The family requests memorials to St. Louis School or the St. Louis Cemetery Fund. Sonowal likely to receive sprinter at airport on FridayOur Sports ReporterGUWAHATI: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare Department is organizing a grand reception for Hima Das who is arriving in Guwahati on Friday.The athlete will be felicitated on the same day at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra.Elaborating the programme, Sports and Youth Welfare Director Pabitraram Khound has informed the media that Hima, the new sensation in Indian athletics, will land at the LGBI Airport at 1 pm on Friday. Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, along with top officials of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, is likely to be present at the airport to receive the ‘golden girl’. Later she will be felicitated at the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in the evening on the same day. A cash award of Rs 1.6 crore will be handed over to the sprinter by the Chief Minister at the function.Khound added: “Before the felicitation function Hima will visit the Samadhi Khetra of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika to pay tribute to the legendary singer. The athlete also wishes to visit the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium after her arrival in the city. We will fulfil her wish.”The media briefing was also attended by Lakhya Konwar, the member secretary of the State Level Advisory Committee for Students and Youth Welfare. He said that several former renowned sports persons, including Bhogeswar Baruah, were invited to attend the felicitation function.
