Lady Wildcats Drop Battle To Lady Tigers

first_imgFC fell to Lawrenceburg in 3 sets 25-20, 25-19, 25-9.But we did give them a run for their money!! The first 2 sets were very close and the 3rd set just slowly slipped away from us. Let’s start off with our serving for last night. Megan Getz and Rachel Bischoff gave us 3 ace serves each. Jalynn Rogers had 1 ace serve. Got to give credit to this team, 29 good serves, 7 ace serves and only 3 errors!!! They can place them right where I tell them to and that is huge!! Great job!! Jalynn Rogers did amazing with 9 digs. Along with Jenna Orschell and Rachel Bischoff each having 3 digs. Megan Getz and Kaitlyn Obert followed, with both of them having 2 digs. I tell the girls that no one hits harder at them than I do and I feel that is one of the reasons these girls do so good!!Meredith Bohman had 5 blocks. Makyah Richardson had 3 blocks. Along with Anna Sacksteder and Layne Steele each having 1 block. Getting Makyah up in front row with Meredith and/or Anna is always by goal. She is a great addition to our front row when we need to sit down and opponent’s hitters!! Rachel Bischoff had 3 kills. Anna Sacksteder and Kaitlyn Obert each had 2 kills. Megan Getz added 1 assist for the night. This was a tough match as we knew it would be and I think this was one of the better matches I have seen these girls play this yr.Next week, we are on the road Tuesday at Batesville and Thursday at Lawrenceburg. Both matches starting at 5:30 with the JV game. We are FC!!!Courtesy of Wildcats Coach Jill Mergenthal.last_img
