first_imgTonight, in an extended episode, Nora Owen will crown Ireland’s first ever Junior Mastermind Champion – and Donegal boy Jack Meenan is hoping he will be the winner.From the hundreds that applied only 5 finalists aged 10 or 11 have made it to the Grand Final and all have chosen brand new specialist subjects.Jack Meenan, 11, from Castlefin has picked a new Specialist Subject: Tin Tin the Great Adventurer – for tonight’s final on TV3. Jack plays Gaelic Football for Robert Emmet’s and plays soccer basketball and tennis.He plays Mastermind on TV at home with his parents. He is inspired by Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and his mum, who he says is the smartest ‘girl I know’.He also loves watching American Football and playing video games.Who will survive best the famous black chair and walk away with the Eason’s book voucher, the Salmon of Knowledge trophy and the title of Junior Mastermind…..
